Submission and Review Process, Associated Journals

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee, mainly for checking adequation with the topics of the conference.

Following the abstract acceptance, the submission of a full-legth paper is mandatory for final acceptance of the communication at the conference. Full lenght papers will be peer-reviewed by at least two referees.

Two kinds of full-length papers will be accepted:

       1. Short papers (4 - 6 pages)

       2. Long papers (8 - 12 pages)

Both kinds of papers should include significant new scientific data.

For both types of papers, short papers and long papers, the same templates should be used.
The templates for paper preparation can be downloaded here:

WORD Template                                                     TeX Template

After preparation of either a short or a long paper using the templates, it should be submitted as a DRAFT PAPER here.

All draft papers will be peer reviewed. All draft papers will be peer reviewed. The authors will be informed of the decision (paper accepted in the original form or with minor changes, paper to be re-submitted after major revision, or paper rejected) by e-mail. Once accepted and after including the necessary modifications, the paper can be submitted as a FULL PAPER here.

All the accepted papers - without distinction between short and long papers - will be published in the electronic Conference Proceedings.

After the conference, a selection of the best long papers (8 pages and more) will be proposed by the Scientific Committee for publication in international journals.

The Journals are:

Only full-length papers accepted for the electronic Conference Proceedings will be presented at the Conference!

Based on the comments of the referees, the accepted papers will be presented either as long oral talk or as short oral talk followed by discussion around a poster. The choice of presentation method will be done by the scientific committee for a good balance of the sessions; the required scientific quality will be the same for long oral or short oral & poster sessions.
